I also got a list of which gun ID was for what weapon as well as advice on which ship ID matched the hulls I want to change or replace. So It is now possible for me to make entierly new ship re textures. He also sent me the diffuse maps for civ,military,capital ships. The developer was nice enough to email me a beta build with ability to bind two buttons for controllers using a dedicated alternative action button which would allow the an extra bind on another already used button however that is for controllers like Xbox360 that build should be released in the next few days-week I know a lot of the player base wanted this. Useful infoĪctually I was in contact with the developer and a community memeber recently who provided me with the information I needed to progress. Perhaps they were left out in oversight? Or perhaps it is meant to create them from scratch and there is no example to edit? I think option one implys that the file is included so that it might be edited rather than be created from scratch. x files for the cockpit in either the customization kit or the game folder. but it seems far to good to be true (?) and perhaps limited in scope but worth looking at because it includes, once again, (I think). It does not appear to be a fun process but this guy claims (I think) he can do it (maybe) for 3DSMax. I firstly do not in anyway wish to infer I have knowledge of such matters, I am no modeler and can barely start Blender but I have located a link that might help. I saw on official you might create cockpits with greater visibility if a way to import/export.
